Growing up in and around Hip-Hop, Rap, and R&B, Damon “D-STUBBS” Stubblefield has always considered himself a true student of trends in urban culture. With his first love, music production, he strives to create soundtracks for all aspects of the urban experience: love, hate, success, failure, celebration, and self reflection.
Damon “D-STUBBS” Stubblefield, Producer, earned academic and music scholarships to Howard University where he matured as a producer and developed his sound. By playing with the Howard University Showtime Marching Band, he developed friendships with many musicians who offered valuable contructive criticism for his production. In May 2005, D-STUBBS graduated from the Howard University School of Business with a degree in Marketing and four more years of production experience (he started producing at the age of 13).
Today, D-STUBBS is signed to Fly-ish Recordings, LLC a Production Company/Record label, and working on a variety of projects within multiple genres of music. D-STUBBS’ reasons for producing are simple: “To make music that moves fans in a way they thought they couldn’t be moved…to touch fans in a way they remember each time they listen to a track… to translate the feelings he had when making the track to his fans…and to create music for the world to enjoy!” It doesn’t get better than that!
